# Turning the scanner on and off

One switch governs the scanner, call recording, milestone alerts and the three calls commands together.

## Availability

The switch is per bot and needs no plan. Only Telegram bots have it.

## Dashboard

#### Reach the switch

1. Open Settings → Features.
2. On the "Bot Utilities" panel, find the "Multi-Chain Scanner" card.
3. Use the "Toggle Multi-Chain Scanner" switch.

#### Owner notification text

| Input | Output |

| Turned on | `🔎 <b>Multi-Chain Scanner</b>  Enabled — contract addresses pasted in your groups get the token card.` |
| Turned off | `🔎 <b>Multi-Chain Scanner</b>  Disabled` |

## Owner /menu

Send `/menu` as the bot owner, in any chat.

#### Reach the switch

1. Tap "Extra Bot Features".
2. Tap "On" or "Off" beside "Multi-Chain Scanner".

*What the bot replies on tap*

| Situation | Reply |
| --- | --- |
| Already in that state | Already on / Already off |
| Toggled successfully | Updated |
| The dashboard could not be reached | Couldn't reach memescale.ai — try again |

## What changes the instant it is switched off

- Pasting a contract address or a link produces no card.
- Milestone alerts stop.
